I chose to add this link to my page because it goes right to the news!  When I was young and we listened to the news (on the radio)  we didn't have to listen for current events, but instead we listened for the weather.  I think that having a news page for the kids to go to is a great way for them to keep up with current events.  However, one does need to be careful on what news the kids will be able to find!
